Hot Meals by KGF

Our hot meals are provided by KGF which has been creating fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for children in childcare since 2002.   

When children are growing up, mealtimes are not solely about nutrition. They’re a time to explore a world of new flavours and textures and to enjoy a positive and sociable eating experience that will encourage them to make their own healthy choices when they’re older. 

KGF are truly passionate about passing on their own love of food by offering a diverse and creative menu that captures children’s interest. 

High-quality, fresh ingredients and a broad range of flavours and textures are used to create meals that meet – and often exceed – the latest nutritional guidelines for children in care.


Our Menus

In our six-week rotational menu, your children’s meals contain food from the five food groups recommended by the Australian Dietary Guidelines.

Our healthy and balanced meals include a variety of Fresh vegetables and legumes, seasonal fruit, wholegrains and seeds, lean fresh meat and fish and dairy options.

» Emphasising on a balance of food and minimal sugar and oil

» Reference state regulatory bodies and infant feeding guidelines to create the most balanced menu

» Producing separate dishes for children with food intolerances or cultural preferences

» Creating a delicious and diverse menu which is delivered fresh to our centre, ready for heating

Allergy & Cultural Preference

We place the utmost importance on accommodating any special requirements.

KGF's specialised team of trained chefs tailer-make meals for children with specific food requirements, and will provide you with a comprehensive list of ingredients for each meal. 

For additional reassurance, we do not use nuts, eggs or pork in our entire food preparation area.

We also provide separate menus for children with vegetarian or other cultural preferences, ensuring  that no children have to compromise on a positive and sociable eating experience.

We are sticklers for maintaining and encouraging outstanding food hygiene practices.
